Stop-action video artist Hayley Morris created this poignant, touching visual metaphor of Alzheimer's. Inspired by her own grandfather's disease, she imagines the struggle of pulling objects from the sea, only to have them constantly slip away. I love everything about this piece, from the music to the materials to the process. She managed to find some beauty where most people find despair and frustration.
