I received this letter in the mail yesterday.
I had to do some research to figure out what AWPA means: whilst some schools accept 200 people to fill a class of 100 (hoping that 100 will turn down the offer), this school only accepts 100 at a time. When people start turning down the offers and the number dips to say, 90, then 10 more acceptances are given to people on the AWPA list. This process continues throughout the spring and summer while applicants weigh offers from numerous institutions. Weird. A little more research and I realized that nobody had been accepted yet because they're all placed on this list first.
