After weeks of searching for a budget hotel in Mumbai (amd making reservations at about four of them), I finally found a place. Melitta, one of the UFS volunteers, invited me to stay with her family!
The program has drastically changed its structure since the complaints/criticisms. Having known one system for 40 days and changing to another for the last 10 is difficult. Oh well, I'm peacing out of this city tomorrow.
At a recent camp, one woman grabbed at the air around my face with both hands, made fits, then cracked her knuckles on the sides of her head. I was creeped out. Only yesterday did I discover that it is a gesture of warding off spirits on a good soul. I'm so happy to help!
